In the mid 70s, think midnight express a mate got mixed up with the wrong crowd and decided to fly out to Bangkok collect and bring a suitcase full of drugs back through Heathrow. Mules did it all the time back then and got away with it, what could go wrong?
He went ahead on the basis that this would be a one off as he would get 100 big ones and be set up for life more or less.
Got sentenced to 10 years bird. When I asked him what went wrong? He said his arsehole was going proper when he was passing through customs hence he started to perspire more than normal and they picked up on it.

Bullet. Must been over 10 years ago, I knew a fella in Thailand who go nicked with a Kilo of Charles.He was put into Bang Kwang prison. With that amount of gear you have to pay off a Judge not the Police
His family and friends raised 1 Million baht, in those days about 15K gbp. They paid the appointed Judge the Judge then retired. The fella then hung himself in prison

Sorry mateI didn't make it clear, he got out of Bangkok ok, got pulled coming through Heathrow customs. Was mid 70s, never did anything naughty again after that, got 10, came out after about 5.

I’m calling one in, it's been a bad week, it’s alright though, it’s a only a tickle. Had a blinding week and getting right on it tonight. I’ll just get another little half, fuck sake he ain’t picking his phone up.
What did I do that for, soppy cunt, I can’t sleep, still can’t sleep and I’ve got to replace that bullseye I spunked. Now I’ve got the horrors and it’s everyone else’s fault.
That’s how a lot of my weekends played out during my twenties and it’s mad, but it was my choice, terrible choice on reflection, putting myself through that sort of turmoil. A bigger sentence than anyone caught serving up will be dealt, in my humble opinion.

I had the same mate
It got to sitting on my own in my house doing gear, getting noid and torturing myself about what I had said and done when was on the gear. Then calling someone at 3 am to get served up on tick
I blame myself . Its behind me now I don't even drink anymore and haven't done any gear for over 15 years

Similar story for pretty much everyone I know. All my mates spent their late twenties and early thirties sat round someone’s flat doing gear til 8am every Friday and Saturday.
Luckily I got it out my system before I turned 20, the five hour panic attacks saw to that

Oh dear only met him a few times he won the WHO first Golf day playing off 3 superb golfer.
I got on really well with him and will always remember his tattoo WHUFC inked on what would have been a painful place :-).
